Infatuation Notification

11:53pm

Ah-HAH! Have thought of brilliant Facebook app. It could be called "Infatuation Notification" or "FatNote" for short.

The application would allow Facebook users to go through friends who also have the app, and check one of two options by each of their names to express their regard: "infatuated" and "not infatuated." If two people are mutually enfatuated, they would both be sent an Infatuation Notification to let them know that the other person feels the same way. If someone wants to check the feelings of a Facebook friends who do not have the app, they can send said persons an anonymous invitation, informing them that one of their Facebook friends has a bit of a crush on them and they ought to get the app and specify who they're infatuated with so that the anonymous poor soul can have some peace of mind.

The app would be brilliant help to those who have a terrible crush on someone, but do not want to endanger friendship if that person does not feel the same way. Whole world would feel better if there were fewer ego-busting "I just see us as friends" experiences. It's one thing to have to survive unrequited love, but it's something else entirely to look like a fool for spilling your guts and then looking like a lovesick dolt when you realize your feelings are one-sided.

The app would also save thousands- if not millions- from embarrassment of having to turn people down. Hate turning people down because do not feel same way. Actually, am incapable of it, so create bogus email accounts and avoid responding. Is awful and rude.

Most importantly, app would allow true love to be realized, as would allow shy people to get together when mutual attraction exists, instead of awkwardly co-existing as friends forever and entering into dissatisfying relationships and marriages with people who they don't love nearly enough.

On completely unrealted note, I realize that I miss Cowboy Bebop terribly. Have secretly wished that were Radical Edward for YEARS.
