V-Day Approaches

January is on its last leg, and February is nearly here! It's already obvious. Today at GTC, Red Velvet cupcakes were in HUGE demand. Cannot wait for V-Day. Is very soon, actually! Seventeen days, right? Siiigh. Cannot wait to see the streets brimming with harried, bleary-eyed people toting flowers, chocolates, beautifully wrapped presents, and ridiculous teddy bears. Cannot wait to hear girls bragging about gifts from their boyfriends, and cannot wait to see all the adorable cards people get. What a day of adorableness!

Much to my delight, displays are already up in most stores. Hearts, pink, and flowers all around! Hurrah!
Of all the beautiful V-Day flourishes in store windows, the "Evening of Two Hearts Strapless Dress" at Betsey Johnson is by far the best. Dress is beautiful compendium of all the best V-Day aesthetics: is petite, is pink, has ruffles, has hearts, and is embellished with big, adorable bow. Is designed for wearer to prance about in, and then jump into arms of some beloved hubby as perfectly wrapped Valentine's gift, and say "Ta-da!!" Loveliness abounds.
